What constitutes a weekend rental?
Weekend rentals are currently available for pick-up between noon Thursday and noon Sunday and must be returned no later than 11:59PM Monday. Weekend rental period: Thursday pick-up and return by same time on Monday.

What constitutes a one way rental?
A one way rental is when the renter picks up the vehicle from one location and returns it to a different location. Both Hertz and Alamo provide this service; however, additional changes may incur.

Do NEA members enjoy unlimited mileage with all rentals?
NEA members receive unlimited mileage with all rentals from Alamo and participating Hertz locations.

Is an NEA member's spouse considered an authorized operator?
Yes. To be considered authorized operators, the NEA member's spouse is required to complete an additional form and be present at the time of rental. Authorized operators are not required to pay an additional fee with Hertz or Alamo.

Are domestic partners considered as authorized operators?
Yes. Hertz and Alamo agree to include domestic partners as authorized operators of the rental vehicle. Hertz requires the domestic partner to complete an additional form and be present at the time of rental. Authorized operators are not required to pay an additional fee.
