Earning And Redeeming WorldPoints® Rewards
 

Is there a limit to the number of Points I can earn?
No. You can continue to earn WorldPoint rewards on your NEA card throughout the year, and carry them forward from one year to the next.

 

Who can redeem my points? Cardholders and authorized users may redeem points.

 

What is the minimum number of Points I need before redeeming?
You can redeem with as few as 2,500 Points for cash or merchandise rewards.

 

When will my Points expire?
Points expire five years from the end of the month in which they were earned. 

 

How will I know how many Points I have accumulated?
Your Points total appears online when you sign into Online Banking and is on your monthly billing statement.

 

What are net retail purchases? Net retail purchases include all purchases you and any authorized user(s) make with your WorldPoints credit card less credits, returns and adjustments to your account.

 

How do I redeem my Points?
You can redeem online at www.bankofamerica.com/worldpoints or call 1.800.434.8313, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

When will my Points balance update after making an online redemption?
Your Points balance will be updated to reflect recent activity and redemptions within 5 business days.

Cash Rewards
 

What is the minimum cash redemption level? Redemptions start at 2,500 points.

 

Can anyone on the account redeem points for cash?
Cardholders and authorized users may redeem points for cash.

 

When can I expect to receive my cash, once redeemed? The check or direct deposit should be received within 14 business days of receipt of the request. All cash rewards will be issued in the name of the primary cardholder.

Merchandise Rewards
 

What brand-name merchandise is available through this program?
Many brand-name products are available, including Sony® and Bose® electronics, KitchenAid® appliances, Callaway®, Ping®, and Taylor Made® golf equipment, Waterford® crystal, Nikon® cameras, Coach® and Dooney & Burke® purses, Black and Decker® tools, and so much more!

 

How can I redeem points for merchandise? All merchandise rewards can be redeemed online at www.bankofamerica.com/worldpoints.  Visit the WorldPoints website to view a complete selection of rewards currently available.

 

Are shipping charges included in my merchandise order and when will it be shipped? Yes, there is no additional charge for standard shipping. Many items will be shipped within 48 hours of your order. The remaining items will be shipped as soon thereafter as these orders can be processed.

 

Gift Cards

 

At what level can I redeem my points for a gift card? You can redeem for a gift card with as few as 3,500 points.

 

Will my gift cards have any restrictions? Gift card terms will vary by merchant.  Any restrictions that apply will be printed with the gift card.

 

What retailers are offering gift cards? You can redeem your points for gift cards to retailers such as J. Crew, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Old Navy, Red Lobster, Omaha Steaks, Barnes and Noble and more.

 

Are gift cards transferable? Yes, gift cards are not personalized and may be transferred to someone else.

Travel Rewards

 

During what hours can I redeem my points for travel? You can redeem online at www.bankofamerica.com/worldpoints or call 1.800.434.8313 and select option 2, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

How much advance notice do I need to redeem points for travel? When using FlexAir Rewards, all travel reservations must be made at least one (1) day in advance.

 

Are there blackout dates for travel? No. This program allows you to travel on holidays, weekends, and during other busy days throughout the year, subject to availability.

 

Can I fly first class or business class? You can redeem your points for first or business class.  Points required will vary based on the cost of the ticket. Please visit the WorldPoints website at www.bankofamerica.com/worldpoints for details.

 

Who are the travel partners?
The program is not limited to specific travel partners. You choose the destination and travel dates, and the rest will be taken care of for you, subject to availability.

What services are available through MyConcierge? MyConcierge offers many customized services including: dining arrangements and reservations, gifts and personal shopping, your ticket source for sporting events, concerts and shows, unique transportation, and more.

 

Can MyConcierge provide access to special events? Yes. MyConcierge can arrange access to sporting events, concerts, theater tickets, and other activities of interest. MyConcierge also has access to this year's hot events.

 

I am traveling abroad, can MyConcierge assist with dinner reservations? Yes. Whether you are dining in the U.S. or abroad, MyConcierge can assist with restaurant suggestions and reservations at the hottest spots in town.
