As an NEA Member in good standing, you now have two choices under the NEA Hospital Care Insurance Plan Program to help back-up your current health plan. Both plans are designed to help pay for those expenses that Medicare and a Medicare Supplement or your current health plan don't pay for.

OPTION I: With the Traditional NEA MemberCare In-Hospital Plan you can collect cash benefits up to $250 a day for hospital expenses. This plan may be ideal if you have adequate savings and family members or friends who can help you recover at home or a convalescent facility after a hospital stay.
