The Investing in Your Future Program, provided to NEA members in partnership with BetterInvesting through a grant from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation, concluded on August 31, 2008. During the grant period, thousands of NEA members enhanced their knowledge of key financial planning and investing topics through a series of specially designed online courses.
The ten-month No Stakes Investment Game was very exciting, as members tracked their “paper” portfolios through the ups and downs of a volatile market year. Winners of the game have already been notified.
NEA Member Benefits is currently exploring ways to introduce new online financial education courses to NEA members and their families. Please take advantage of the other educational and practical resources on the NEA MB website (neamb.com) in the “Tools and Tips” section. There you’ll find the Five-Minute Retirement Checkup, a tool to help you gauge your progress toward your retirement savings goals, as well as dozens of articles and online financial calculators that can aid you in making important financial decisions
