Western Governors University 
Western Governors University (WGU) is an online, nonprofit university focused on you, the student. Tuition is affordable—almost half the cost of for-profit universities—and WGU offers NCATE-accredited master’s degrees in mathematics, science, special education, ELL/ESL and other critical teaching disciplines.

     

 


Walden University 
Walden is offering NEA members the opportunity to choose between two master’s degrees—M.S. in Education or M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology—that include more than 15 specializations to help teachers meet their personal and professional goals. Through the partnership with the NEA Academy, members can receive a 10% tuition reduction and gain access to $100,000 per year in NEA member scholarships.

If you’d like to receive continuing education credits for any of the courses from NEA Academy, we recommend that you print the course description from the website and submit it to your state and/or local office toget approval for the course.
