The NEA Student Debt Navigator helps teachers locate federal student loan repayment plans and student loan forgiveness programs that can reduce your financial burden—and help keep you in the classroom.
If you choose to enroll in a repayment or student debt forgiveness program, the Navigator will populate all the necessary information in the correct Department of Education application.
You also can e-file directly through the Navigator to help save time and prevent errors that could lead to application approval delays.
Did you know that repayment plans require you to prove your educator eligibility each year? This tool lets you easily “recertify” by printing and submitting paperwork by mail at no cost. E-filing is also available at a discounted price for NEA members.
