Complimentary Coverage That Gives You—and Your Family—Peace of Mind
Eligible NEA members receive a $1,000 life insurance benefit.
This benefit is activated as soon as you join the NEA and remains in place as long as you’re an eligible member.* Coverage is provided at no cost to you.
It’s simple and important, to name your beneficiaries.
Designating a beneficiary ensures that your complimentary benefit is paid directly to the individual you choose, without unnecessary delays.
Your coverage goes beyond basic protection.
In addition to the $1,000 life insurance benefit, eligible members are automatically covered by additional protections, including Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits† and increased benefits for job-related incidents, all at no cost to you.
